This video presents the important steps for the successful global extension of medical products, especially global public procurement.

The Bureau of International Health Cooperation, the National Centre for Global Health and Medicine, and the Institute for Global Health Policy Research conducted the Research project on Japan’s strategic and effective funding and cooperation with international health-related organizations focused on COVID-19 and the three major infectious diseases.

Research teams will identify the aspects of support necessary for Japanese companies for each step, including R&D, pre-qualification and country approval, selection and prioritization of international partners and countries, procurement and supply, and the introduction and use of healthcare products.
